This Emerson radio featuring an Ingraham cabinet, is one of our favorites.The styling of this case is in the Hepplewhite styling with nice inlay and fancy feet, and a nicely curved outer design on all of the radio sides. There is a lift top lid with a burled walnut top, in fact all outer portion of this radio is made of choice walnut woods. There are no major wood problems and the cabinet is in overall very good condition. The radio itself looks good with a nice interior. This is a battery operated radio with what looks like its original batteries. Everything seems to be intact, but I didn't take out the batteries, so you will buy this radio as is. Nice bottom cover with paper label. Radio is very unusual and would imagine to be rare and a nice find.
