Motorola 60-X-1

Very sharp Motorola from 1940.This is model 60X1.It is a 5 tube set.The styling on this cabinet is superb.With the louvres and the brown and black swirled bakelite it's an eye catcher.This Motorola has been thoroughly refurbished.The cabinet was cleaned , polished and detailed back to it's original deep shine.It has no cracks or repairs.The handle is original to this set,as it was available with or without a handle.The dial is mint as is the dial cover.The chassis had the following: all wax capacitors were changed, all resistors checked, all tubes checked, band aligned to correct specs.It plays loud and clear and brings in many stations here locally.It is very sensitive across the band with it's built-in loop antenna.A very fine playing and looking set for any collection.
