Beautiful RCA 1X-591 "Golden Throat" Radio.

This is a great playing, beautiful RCA 1X-591 set. This model was known for its unique design and superb sound. The gold "curtain" front is mint and the damage free bakelite cabinet retains a very nice ORIGINAL shine. There's been nothing smeared on the cabinet to make it look good for the pictures. The back is in top notch condition. Electroically, our radio expert has gone through the entire chassis including a total recap and all the other usuals. With the big 7 inch speaker, this baby really puts out the sound! No hum or static and the loop antenna has great pulling power. If you've been looking for a really nice example of this classic set, this is one to take a real close look at-near mint.
