This highly collectible 6 tube radio was made in 1945. They were given away in 1946 as promotional items with the purchase of a refrigerator. Said to be portable solely because of the fold-up carrying handle, there being no provision for batteries. They were available in 4 colors, this one is the popular ivory shade (Model H-126). Radio is constructed of plastic with a metal center panel, upper front dial, lower cloth grill with vertical bars and an on-off-volume control and tuning knob.
