RCA "1939 Worlds Fair"-All original !!!

This fantastic souvenir was released as a promotion for RCA's television debut at the 1939-40 New York World's Fair. The radio cabinet's front, made of molded imitation wood, prominently displays the fair's Trylon and Perisphere trademarks. To the far right, near the tuning dial, is a supplementary rendering of RCA's exhibition building. A very attractive antique radio associated with a specific historic event.
The front is a Repwood panel (a molded plastic imitation wood product) which shows the Worlds Fair symbol, the Trylon and Perisphere. The RCA building is featured in the lower right corner. This radio is a part of a series which included a set featuring the San Francisco Golden Gate Exposition, and the Mexican-motif La Siesta.
This radio is in beautiful original condition. Case is good as it gets. Radio has its original back and radio does play.
A must for any collector and also makes for a great unique gift.
