RCA Oriental Design 1948

Beautiful 1948 RCA Victor Model 75x17 Lacquered cabinet with Oriental Designs . What a striking and unusual radio this is! The 1948 RCA Victor tube table radio with a beautiful Japanese/Oriental case. It is hand painted with raised 3-D designs on all three sides, and even a painted scene behind the dial.

The paintings depict a Japanese man flying a kite surrounded by bonsai and there are pagodas on the sides with trees, humpbacked bridges and flying birds.
Right dial, Left vertical grill,2 knobs, 10"x 7"x 7 1/2".

Case is in great shape no cracks or chips. Radio plays. This is another example of the inovation in radio design . A beautiful radio that will look great in any living room or office.
