Electronic Emergency Road Flare

It is tragic how many lives are lost while tires are being changed, or when vehicles are stranded roadside due to other mechanical failures. An Electronic Emergency Flare is inexpensive, consumes so little space, yet can be very important for safety and saving lives, anywhere and in any situation where one needs to be seen from land or air.

Unusual design, high visibility portable battery powered supplementary warning device that uses LED lighting technology to attract attention and to warn others of hazards. On the rear of the electronic flare, there is a push on, push off rubber switch. When the on button is pressed, power is transferred from the batteries to an electronic circuit that intelligently controls the LED lamps. The circuit is divided into two parts. One part controls fifteen LED's arranged around the outer rim of the flare. The second part controls five LED's located in the centre of the flare. The fifteen LED's are rotated around the rim of the flare in a chasing configuration, to give the appearance of movement. Upon every single rotational cycle of the outer LED's, the five LED's in the centre are pulsed in unison to produce an intense flash visible from great distances. Activation is therefore very safe and simple, which is critical during an emergency. The power switch isolates the batteries from the electronic circuit. Therefore, the batteries will discharge only at the rate of their normal shelf life. Quality Alkaline batteries can be stored for more than five years, at the end of which, still contain a major proportion of their charge. Thus the Emergency Electronic Flare can still be used after a few years of inactivity and it will still work.

This Electronic Emergency Flare flashes with bright amber simulated rotating lights. Warns and protects with high visibility. Runs for the whole night on one set of 4 "AA" batteries(not included). The battery cover, located on the rear of the flare, can be easily removed by hand.

Weatherproof folding stand or hanger it can be used in two ways, according to the emergency situation at hand. Either parallel to the ground, so as to attract the attention of spotter planes, or raised off the ground and directed towards oncoming traffic, as would be the case for roadside warning applications. LED lights never require replacement.
